Matthew Ulland is a novelist, poet, and short story writer whose work is regularly published in literary journals nationwide. He has worked in publishing for many years and, briefly, taught middle school English in the Bronx. He holds degrees in English and creative writing from The University of Texas at Austin, Washington University in St. Louis, and New England College. He is the author of the novel, The Broken World, the poetry chapbook, The Sound in the Corn, and of a young adult fantasy novel currently seeking representation. He lives in the Hudson Valley north of New York City and works in Newtown, Connecticut.
